a photo of a man with a red beard and glasses standing next to a woman with grey hair and glasses, in an overgrown garden It all started as a joke.

Since the 1980s, Pat had been making her signature dip for every party she threw or attended, and our friends would always beg her to either give them the recipe or sell them the dip.

And then around 2010, Jared started making hot pepper jelly for friends and family. And we started joking about starting a food business.

Then one day we realized we weren't really joking after all. Pat had just retired and Jared was getting bored of his gig as a custom screen printer, and we started looking into what it would take to start a dip-and-pepper-jelly business. We figured we'd do it as a side-hustle, but looking at all the moving parts, we knew we had to either do it for real or not at all. So for better or worse, we jumped in.

Since then, with the love and support of our wonderful community in New Bedford, Mass, we've expanded our offerings to a full line of handmade condiments. All our products are made by us, in the commercial kitchen we built out of an old dive bar. We love sharing the things we make with folks around the country and the world, and have been blessed to hear back that they've found a treasured place in so many kitchens.
